see what I mean by suggestive? its so creative!something wrong with my camera. But its designed to look like some medicine cover
Shakespeare chocolate! How cool is that?

*note* It's not for girls! Wanna know why? Cos it has like 600+ calories! Can you imagine??ROWS AND ROWS OF JELLY BEANS! all flavours!
this is a picture taken on the public bus (which is free for internal rides around Chapel Hill) see that string across the window? You pull it to stop the bus, instead of pressing a bellthis is what I meantthis is an upclose shot of the string you pull to ring the bell
the neighbourhood of my Aunt's house. Daniel and my cousin, Anthony walking Daniel's dog.
look at the flowers and the trees! So pretty! Its a pretty and foresty neighbourhood :)
our morning walks/jogsmy Aunt's house. Can you spot Daniel and Anthony?the sun is rising. it has an enchanted feel :)beautiful isn't it? nature is God's wonderful creation :)
HongKong Buffet (yes, buffet again)
this is Daniel. and what he is holding in his hand is a fortune cookie dipped in ice-cream (the american way, as he calls it)

my fortune in the fortune cookie! how apt :)
Daniel and my Aunt's family
My Aunt's family and I (left to right) Uncle, Aunt, Anthony, Grace, Myself
i ate so much, you wouldn't believe it. typical Singaporean. *sigh*
they had crab, sushi, and basically rows and rows of FOOD!
some egg soup
greedy Anthony who loves ice cream. heh
we had pizza one day, after watching The Simpsons in the nearby theatre
So after trying to keep to my diet during the East Coast trip I basically binged when I reached North Carolina. My Aunt brought me to so many restaurants, all of which are buffet style. So sinful! My week at my Aunt's place was packed with activities. I watched The Simpsons, went to Malls, went swimming, went for morning jog/walks, did laundery (handwashing is hard work man!), cooked meals, went to restaurants, went for mass, watched DVD at my cousin's neighbour (James') place with homemade popcorn (typical American!), went on many walks and tours/trips around the neighbourhood, taking their public transport (which is free of course), visited my Aunt and Uncle at their shops, helped my Aunt at her shop, went grocery shopping at Target, Walmart, Asian Market, Harris Teeter and many more, took lots of free sample food (typical Singaporean again) and lots of other stuff which my memory fails me. I really enjoyed the week getting to know North Carolina Chapel Hill better because it helped me a great deal when I started school at UNC. I also learnt alot during this time about American culture and got to know my cousins much better. :)

these silly birds were crossing the roads as though their grandfather owns it

some performance by the native red indians

fruits! our breakfast at the restaurant at thousand island

these pictures are of the thousand island, a rich men's playground as I term it, where the rich build holiday houses on the many islands, hence the name "thousand islands" the houses are beautiful, some built to look like castles, holiday inns/resorts etc.
